FTR has data collection agreements with all the major OEMs. We do not include Class 8 off-the-road vehicles from small OEMs in our data, because they do not typically haul freight. It is estimated that these vehicles make up 1-2% of the total Class 8 production in any give year. We tie our historical data to Wards Automotive Group RS3 and FS5 Reports.
